Our ethos has always been to provide affordable, but not cheap, events. We offer a ‘bare boat’ service so that you, the client can choose which extras you pay for, rather than lumping everything in and increasing prices across the board. We work closely with various suppliers to offer complementary add-ons like buffets, barbecues, DJs and bands, so you end up with exactly the party you want.
Since our inception in 2002 we have gone from a team of 4 partners with help from long suffering friends and family, to a full time team of between 8 and 10, and a part-time staff of over 40! We pride ourselves on our tight knit team, and have been told that this loyalty and camaraderie filters down through the telephone and onto the boats, helping you and your friends in turn enjoy a great night on the Thames.
It’s always nice to put faces to names so without further ado, we are (in alphabetical order!):
Judy Spanswick: Judy is the artistic side to the firm, and when she’s not doing the school run or chasing around after her three girls can usually be found tinkering with the website, or sorting out our advertising. A teacher in her former life she has been known to threaten detention for miscreants so cold callers beware!

Matt Spanswick: Matt is the maintenance side of the firm and is in charge of keeping the boats in the tip top shape we expect. He also has an eye for detail and has designed and built many key areas of the boats including dancefloors, bars and a DJ booth. A Waterman since he can remember Matt is a Leo and enjoys keeping fit. |

Nina Neicho: The accountant of the firm, Nina is in charge of making sure all the pennies are accounted for and reining in everyone else’s great schemes to spend every pound we earn! Never happier than with an Excel spreadsheet in front of her she amazingly still finds time to fit in her two kids and even gets to the gym on occasion. |

Scott Neicho: Scott is the man to know if you have any questions about, well... anything really! But specifically marine services, DJ equipment or club nights. A keen marathon runner he can sometimes be seen running or cycling the 12 miles to work. Another born-Waterman Scott hates wearing a suit, and his great loves are boats, bikes and booze - although not necessarily in that order. |

Sarah Allcock: Sarah is the new girl in the office. She has a fun a bubbly personality, but also a keen eye for detail. She'll be found in the office on a Tuesday and Wednesday buried deep in timesheets, spread sheets and all things payroll. |

Carol Bowstead: A very experienced events manager, Carol has a bright a cheery personality and is always prepared to go that extra mile. She is extremely passionate about what she does, she cares deeply about the service she provides and has been known to be moved to tears by the thank you letters she regularly receives from her clients. |

Hayley Connor : CPBS youngest event organiser, Hayley is a breath of fresh air bringing in new ideas and loads of energy to the office. Hayley has a fantastic knowledge of all our boats from the window sizes, to table plans and so much more!! When asked about her job she replies "There's nothing not to like working here". |

Jo Middlemiss: To her friends – of which we proudly count ourselves amongst - she’s Little Miss Organised – (which will come in handy now that she's a working mum ;-) Our most experienced events manager she's happy only when everything is in its place. Jo understands the importance of first impressions and strives every day to provide excellent service from CPBS. |

Michael Batty: Michael is our resident Bar Manager. When he’s not making sure the boats have fully stocked bars he enjoys drinking tea, sleeping and his day job as a Calvin Klein body model (he has to pay the rent somehow). He juggles all the bar staff, boat changes, your specific order requirements and deliveries so that your CPBS boat party leaves you with a smile on your dial. If you need to contact him for anything, his PA* is more than happy to take your call. *His PA’s name also happens to be Michael Batty. Just a coincidence.

Martin Zupa: Our assistant bar manager Martin has been with us for quite a while and understands the importance to providing excellent customer care. Nothing is too much trouble, he lives to see happy smiling clients and tip jar full of money!
