Club Party Onboard The Golden Flame

Capital Pleasure Boats speaks to Richie from FNUK about his upcoming event.

Who are you and what do you do?

We’re FNUK - ‘The Party People’ and we make / play / promote music and have been putting on parties for nearly 7 years.

How many times have you organised a boat party?

Our 7th Birthday onboard The Sundance this year is going to be our 22nd Boat Party.

Do you theme your events?

Yes, all of our boat parties have been themed.

What type of crowd do you usually attract?

We’re extremely biased but we believe our party goers are possibly one of the friendliest and up for it crowds in the world ever. A MASSIVE THANKS to all our loyal Fnukstars.

What do you like about Capital Pleasure Boats / our boats?

Everything is second to none right from the vessels to the staff onboard and in the office. A pleasure to work with.

Which is your favorite boat and why?

The Sundance is probably our favorite due to its layout and size.

What's your favorite sight along the river Thames?

The Thames Barrier always surprises us for its sheer size but going through Tower Bridge is always awesome. To be fairly honest though once we’re sailing everybody ends up dancing most of the night and don’t even notice the sights.

Are you planning any other boat parties this year?

Yes, we’re going to be doing at least another 2 this year.

Do you organise events other than boat parties?

Yes we’re involved in club nights and also festivals (you can catch us at Zoo8 which is being held at Port Lympne Zoo in Kent, 4th,5th and 6th July).

Which three words best describe your CPBS experience?

Professional, Competent and most of all Fun.

What do you enjoy most about the parties you hold on our boats?

As with most nights we do, it's the interaction we have with the crowd and seeing everybody having a wicked time, and all your vessels allow us to do that.

If money / distance were no object what would be the ultimate venue for your events?

A party on the Moon would be fun we reckon? Now that would really be a Moon Dance?

When is your next CPBS function?

22nd March The Fnuk Floaty Boaty Pirate Eggstravaganza (It's our 7th Birthday and it's on Easter Bank Holiday Weekend so we’ve got a feeling it's gonna slighty go off).

How do we buy tickets?

www.fnuk-tickets.com.
