Similarly we are constantly checking our bar prices against the local competition to ensure neither you nor your guests suffer any nasty surprises at the bar once on board.

    To adapt to your needs. We offer the widest range of catering, entertainment, bar and decor possibilities we can in order to create your ideal function, with minimal fuss and within budget. If you want something we don’t already offer then let us know, chances are we can source it for you, and if it works well you may find it added to our repertoire for next time!

    To be as flexible as possible. It’s your party – we think you should choose as much as possible, from the times of your function and the piers from which we embark and disembark your guests, to whether or not to have food and what to cover the tables with. It’s all part of making it your event – not ours.

Matt and the team are constantly re-fitting, re-designing and improving them so that you and your guests get the most possible enjoyment from your event.

  • 10th September 2012: CPBS hosted another successful charity barge race, as part of the Thames Festival yesterday, and our girls managed to pull it off once again, winning the Dave Pope Challenge Cup. Well done all of you.

  • 19th July 2012: With the Olympics mere days away our thoughts have turned increasingly to logistics. If you need to transport people or meet deliveries during the London Games contact us to see if we can help

  • February 2012: We are proud to be taking part in the Queens Diamond Jubilee Pageant in June. Unfortunately however we have no tickets available for purchase for this event.

  • 6 September 2011: We are pleased to welcome Michael into the CPBS family as he embarks on his career with us a Trainee Bar Mananger. We also wish Sav all the best for his future career as he jets off to warmer climes.

  • 1 September 2011: We wish a fond and sad farwell to Stef our long suffering Bar Manager as he sets off down under. Good luck Stef, we'll miss you.

  • 30 August 2011:Capital Pleasure Boats would like to welcome Sarah to our team in the office. We look forward to working with her and involving her in all things CPBS.

  • 9 June 2011: Our Summer Temp Ben has now begun working for us in the offie. He will be assisting in organising functions onboard our boats during the next few months. Helping to ensure that we have enough time to give all our clients the attention they require.

  • 19 May 2011: We are pleased to welcome Leon as Traninee Bar Manager to our team. Leon will be working hard along side Stef and Sav to make your time onboard fantastic!
