With the London Olympics mere days away our thoughts have been increasingly occupied with logistics. We are lucky in that our business can carry on much as normal – there will be heavy road closures around Temple Pier, our home mooring, however the nature of our business means we can travel to pick up passengers or meet deliveries at less busy locations out of Central London. We feel for those businesses directly affected by the road closures, both in Central London and around Stratford and the other Olympic venues.

If passenger transport is your priority then as well as the workboats our 4 passenger vessels are still available on various dates. Capable of holding between 20 and 240 people they provide traffic free access to Canary Wharf or Mast House Terrace which are both a short transfer to the Olympic Park. Additionally Horse Guards Parade, Earls Court, Greenwich Park, the O2 and Woolwich Arsenal are all Olympic venues within an easy walk of the river.
