Catering
Whichever vessel you choose our in-house caterers can provide classy canapés, a simple buffet or a more lavish Silver Service meal for your guests. Alternatively you can bring on your own catering for a small surcharge.
Entertainment
We can arrange entertainment to suit all types of functions; the ever popular disco could be supplemented with a band or karaoke. Close up magicians, caricaturists, fun casino tables and many more can also be arranged.
Should you require a photographer to record your event, Capital Pleasure Boats can highly recommend Fergus Noone. A Greenwich local, Fergus has many years experience photographing both weddings and the river, and 'Golden Jubilee' in particular. A sample of his work can be seen on his website www.fergusnoone.com
MV Golden Star
The baby of our fleet, Golden Star caters for between 40-120 guests. She is able to seat up to 60 in the booth seating around the perimeter of the vessel with the possibility of further seating in the centre of the vessel.
Her spacious interior with bespoke dance floor and fully sticked bar provides ample space for a variety of catering and entertainment possibilities while the generous sundeck is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and a breath of fresh air. Please click here for full details.
MV Golden Flame
This is a great boat to enjoy family celebrations for up to 240 guests. Inside there are 2 spacious saloons with fixed bench seating and fully stocked bars, as well as space for a DJ, band, fun casino or other entertainment. Her full service galley allows for catering of all kinds, from a light buffet to a la carte dining.
Uniquely among our boats the lower saloon can be shut for smaller, more intimate events, preventing your guests from spreading out too much and ensuring the party atmosphere is kept alive. Please click here for full details.
MV Golden Jubilee
Our flagship vessel, Golden Jubilee is ideal for larger parties, milestone birthday celebrations, anniversaries and wedding receptions. One of the most versatile and adaptable vessels on the Thames today she is capable of carrying up to 240 friends and family and boasts two large decks and an additional outer sun deck.
The spacious dance floor in the upper saloon is the perfect place to enjoy music from our in-house DJ or a live band while the huge sun deck offers great photo opportunities with stunning backdrops.
